Programme Outline

The aim of this programme is to equip students with the attributes, knowledge and skills needed to prepare them for higher level, including degree-level studies, leading toward a chosen field of study or career pathway. The programme is also ideal for students who are unsure whether they want to go to university. They can get an understanding of their field of interest before progressing to a full degree programme. As well as subject knowledge, they will get used to the higher education context and gain the skills needed for higher-level study. If they successfully complete the foundation programme, they can be accepted into the first year of a diploma or degree programme.
